LOURDES HOSPITAL. External Air Cooing Ducts, Dubbo, NSW
Coated the external surfaces of the metal ducts for the evaporative air coolers to reduce
the hospital's power costs.
reduced our cooling loss from the cooling unit to a point of delivery bay at least
25%. We also painted a rolladoor with a westerly aspect and the internal temperature,
300mm from the door, which was 10°C cooler than before painting with identical air
temperatures.

FACTORY. Industrial Factory Roof, Balcatta, WA
Coated 35 year old asbestos roof to improve comfort and staff stress.
Interior temperatures were markedly reduced below those normally experienced. Living
conditions were comfortable throughout the heat wave, and the air-conditioning load was
reduced.

DESIGN AND DRAFTING OFFICE. Caboolture, QLD
Coated the roof of a home office for the owner /occupier who works from home.
two weeks after Insulpaint was applied to the roof we experienced an extended period
of 36°C + heat. Were able to sit comfortable inside with no discomfort at all. The internal
temperature never rose above 28°C and there was a very noticeable difference when
entering the house from the outside….As a building designer, I would recommend
Insulpaint to my clients as an effective and economical means of keeping their homes
cooler during summer.
Bob Keating, Director
BRONSON & JOCOBS COSMETIC COMPANY. Homebush Bay NSW
Unable to sustain a constant temperature in the production facility for cosmetics which
are heat sensitive, we looked a air conditioning, however as they only needed to reduce
the temperature on hot days, this was not a realistic option and expensive.
we even tried insulating the walls, but nothing worked. Since coating the building
and walls with Insulpaint we have found our warehouse stays within the desired range,
even on extreme hot days. In fact we were so pleased with the result we also coated our
Head Office.
Graeme Love General, Manger Operations
RADIO RENTALS THORN EMI.
Top floor office and computer installation areas, North Ryde, NSW.
Coated metal decking roof to overcome problems with heat build up in the roof cavity, air
conditioning did not have the capacity and insulation was not effective enough.
Temperatures have been significantly lowered in areas of the building previously
deemed unsatisfactory. The roof has been waterproofed and no evidence of nuisance
leaks have been reported.
L Palmer, Managing Director.
CAR TORQUE. Retail Outlet Bunbury, WA
Coated roof and back wall to improve comfort.
The interior temperature in the shop has dropped at least 12°C to make it cool and
comfortable to work in without the aid of fans or an air-conditioner.
K.W. Wallace, Proprietor.
NICKOL BAY SIGNS. Factory and spray painting workshop, Karratha, WA
Coated roof externally to increase comfort level and improve application of spray
painting.
We have now experienced the full summer season and are happy to report a noticeable
decrease in our working environment temperature. Our premises are not air-conditioned
and this decrease has improved the application of our solvent based spray painting
systems and naturally improved our working environment.

LAKEVIEW HOLIDAY UNITS. Holiday Unit Complex, Crescent Head, NSW
Concrete Slab roof on units coated outside to reduce heat penetrating top units.
it has reduced the temperature inside the top units dramatically. Being a concrete slab
the roof heat generated into the top units was sometimes unbearable. Many people who
have been staying in the units over the years have made mention to me the difference.
B.Kennett, Resident Owner.
OFFICE BUILDING. 34 Collins S, West Perth, WA
Improved air-conditioning for electrical controls.
The writer personally spoke to all the tenants on the Friday following the brief burst of
high temperature. Everone spoken to advised the level of comfort had not been affected
by the hot weather. It was particularly pleasing to receive good reports from all three
tenants on the top floor who have reported trying conditions during hot spells in the past
C.Miller, Managing Agent, Baillieu Knight Frank.
CAPE CLAIRAULT WINERY. Winery, Carbunup River. WA
Applied Insulpaint to improve comfort for the sales area and the roof in the winery to
reduce the temperature to the top of the tanks.
the biggest bonus was in the coolness of the tasting area where the roof was low. This
area always became stifling in summer, we found a very marked improvement…..The
biggest recommendation we can give, this is value for money
A. Lewis, Cape Clairault Wines.
PINJAR PIGGERY. Piggery, Wanneroo, WA
Sheds painted to reduce internal temperature on hot days.
We have found that when comparing temperatures between treated and untreated sheds,
there was a drop on about some 7°C …..the result is very satisfactory.
R.J.B Hill, Managing Director.
KAHIBAH BOWLING CLUB. Clubhouse, Kahibah. NSW

We have noted that there is a marked difference in the temperature in the clubhouse and
this is particularly noticeable saving in power costs, this will benefit the club.
D. Ross, Bowling Club Secretary, Manager.
VISY BOARD, Factory Roof, QLD
On Tuesday December 5th 1995, I walked onto the roof of Visy Board PTY Ltd for
which I am the Maintenance Manager. A month before we had applied Insulpaint to a
1200 m2 portion of the roof where the heat underneath was causing problems to
machinery and staff. Before the application of Insulpaint the only alternative to keeping
this area cool would have been to install air-conditioning, but because of the cost this
option was quickly dismissed.
The treated area was tested with a digital thermometer. The ambient temperature was
41.2°C at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with a slight breeze. When the thermometer was
placed on the iron roof it measured 66.7°C. It was then moved a metre onto the Insulpaint
treated area where the reading was 46.5°C. A difference of 20°C was therefore achieved.
Please feel free to ring me to verify these results.”
Ray Siogren, Maintenance Manager.
TAUBAMANS PAINTS Mezzanine Office Roof, Wollongong. NSW.
The flat roofed office area above our showroom became uninhabitable in the peak of
summer months due to heat build up. Our window mounted air conditioners could not
cope.
Insulpaint was brushed directly onto the galvanised clip-lock roof. Staff reported reduced
heat and we found the air-conditioners can now cope with the hottest days.
Derek Craig, Manager.
TAUBAMANS PAINTS Warehouse Roof, Woolloongabba QLD.
Since the application of Insulpaint to our main roof the temperature difference was
found to be around 10°C cooler. Our neighbours at Repco, in an identical building to
ours, have also commented on the difference.
Malcolm Tindall, Manager.
