Cracked Surfaces
|
Surfaces with fine line cracks, prime surface as required then apply
A500 Insulpaint to a higher film build than normal to allow for
expansion of these cracks .
Depending on the width of the crack, apply A500 Insulpaint
at a DFT of 800 1000 microns

Application
Clean Up
|
Stir thoroughly before use.
Brush/roller apply one or two even coats direct from the container.
For ease of application dilute the Insulpaint with 5% water and stir. (1 litre of water to 20 litres of Insulpaint.)
Airless Spray spray gun with 35 tip.
Clean all equipment with clean tap water immediately after use. Dried material may be softened and removed with methylated spirits or xylene.
|
Precautions General
|
Rate of drying is affected by airflow, temperature and relative humidity.
Do not apply Insulpaint at temperatures below 10 ° C, surface temperature above 3°C of the Dew Point or if the surface temperature is above 40 ° C.
Relative Humidity to be below 85%.
Roofs used for collecting rainwater should have the first lot of rainwater after application diverted to another area.
DO NOT APPLY INSULPAINT IF RAIN IS IMMINENT
